Hello! I am very excited to be working at Lancaster Central Elementary School. I am a former Norwell graduate and attended Lancaster Central when I was in elementary school. I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Exercise Science. I then decided to return to school to obtain my masters in Mild Interventions with licensure after subbing and becoming a paraprofessional in a special needs classroom. I received my Master’s in Education from the University of Saint Francis. I began my teaching career as a paraprofessional at Lancaster Central Elementary. My first full time classroom teaching job was at Bellmont High School. After a year there, I moved on to East Allen County Schools where I taught at Heritage Jr/Sr High school for 5 years then Heritage Elementary for the past 6 years. I have chosen to leave Heritage and bring myself, as well as my two children to Lancaster. Northern Wells Community Schools is a districted dedicated to their students, parents, and staff members and I look forward to being a part of this education system.
A little more about myself, I am a wife and mother of two children. My husband, Kevin, works at North Adams Community Schools as the district’s resource officer. My son Colten is in 3rd grade and my daughter Isabelle is in 1st grade at Lancaster now as well. I enjoy swimming, gardening, and camping with my family. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs that have found their way into our hearts. I am looking forward to this exciting opportunity for myself as well as for my family.
