Champions Together Champions Together

Recently, a group of students, some school personnel and a few parents meet with Lee Lonzo and Mitch to learn about a program called Champions Together.  Champions Together is a collaborative partnership between the Indiana High School Athletic Association and Special Olympics Indiana that promotes servant leadership among student athletes while changing their lives as well as the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.  Special Olympics International is supporting Champions Together as a model program to activate schools through “Project Unify” which also has the endorsement of the National Federation of High Schools.  Click 'Read More' to continue...

 
OPS and FWO Offer Free Physicals
OPS (Optimum Performance Sports) along with FWO (Fort Wayne Orthopedics) are pleased to provide our athletes with free physicals Saturday, April 27, 2019. Physicals will take place at Fort Wayne Orthopedics, 7601 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
 
We encourage our athletes to show up for physicals at their schools assigned time.  Norwell's time slot is 8:00am.  If you happen to have an event that interferes please feel free to come earlier so that we can accommodate your schedule. Physicals will end at 11:00am or once the last athlete in line has been seen.  Please bring completed physical forms with you so that we can keep everything as efficient as possible. 
 
Service Academy Day
On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Congressman Jim Banks will be hosting a Service Academy Day at the Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base, where a comprehensive overview of the U.S. Service Academies and the respective admissions processes will be provided. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with officials from the service academies, Congressman Banks, the Third Congressional District Service Academy Advisory Board, and representatives from Congressman Banks office. Riley 2019 5th Annual Riley Dance Marathon a Success
The 5th Annual Norwell High School Riley Dance Marathon was a huge success!  Our students and community members were able to surpass the goal of $10,000 with a grand total of $12,929.89 raised to give to Riley Children's Hospital!  Thanks for all the community support but a special thanks goes out to the following sponsors:

18-19 Textbook & Technology Fees

 Grades 9 -12  $165.00*                                                                                                                                             *In addition to this rental cost, students attending shared CTE programs will be required to pay for the costs charged by the school hosting the program that are associated with that course.  Also, dual credit courses and AP courses may require charges or fees above and beyond this Technology & Textbook fee.
