Northern Wells Community Schools Technology Overview

Northern Wells Community Schools is a 1:1 device corporation using the iPad. 

Northern Wells Community Schools currently has in use 2500+ iPads and 530+ Windows Desktop computers throughout the district. Classroom technologies include: Document Cameras, Smartboards, Projectors, and wireless infrastructure. Every NWCS teacher has been issued a MacBook Air laptop computer and an iPad for use in his or her classroom. All teachers in grades K-12  use eBackPack to deliver content for their  instruction and assessment.

PowerSchool

PowerSchool is our web-based student information system. PowerSchool enables NWCS teachers to make timely decisions that impact student performance while creating a collaborative environment for parents, teachers and students to work together in preparing 21st century learners for the future.

PowerTeacher

PowerTeacher is used to view all classes, rosters, student demographic information, grading periods, standards, rubrics and grades scales. As teachers use PowerTeacher, this data is available to all stake-holders, including parents and students with instant visibility to assignments, scores, grades, comments and progress toward each assignment/standard.

Responsible Use Policy - All staff and students should adhere to the Northern Wells Community Schools District Responsible Use Policy.
