What
's your ideal work environment?

The way you like to work is an important aspect to consider when deciding on a career direction.


THERE ARE SIX CORE WORK VALUES:

RECOGNITION These people value status and should look toward careers that fulfill that need.

INDEPENDENCE – These people value creativity and the freedom to work alone.

ACHIEVEMENT – It's important that these people look for work where they can see the results of their efforts directly and can get a strong feeling of accomplishment.

RELATIONSHIPS – These people thrive where their co-workers are likely to be friendly and supportive and they can be of service to others.

WORKING CONDITIONS – These people should consider pay, job security, and good working conditions when looking at jobs.

SUPPORT – These people enjoy working where the company stands behind its workers and where the workers are comfortable with management’s style of supervision.

2. Complete the test by sorting the cards.

3. Click on Submit & View Report.

4. Enroll to get your results.

5. Click on Printable View.

6. Choose Microsoft XPS Document Writer as your printer and save to your College
and
Careers folder as A-8 Ways to Work.
