FAFSA RESCHEDULED!! New date for Spring FAFSA Night!!

Completing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the first step in applying for most federal, state, and college-provided financial aid for students. Norwell High School is hosting a “Finalizing Financial Aid Night” for parents and seniors on Thursday, March 11th at 6:00PM in the NHS Multipurpose Room. This presentation will provide families with hands on help and information regarding the necessary steps needed to finalize financial aid plans, maximize FREE money, and minimize debt.  Additional topics that will be discussed are using the Student Aid Report (SAR) to review FAFSA errors, the verification process, how to review state grant edit issues on the ScholarTrack portal, loan options and how to compare financial aid awards.

In addition to the presentation, a representative from INvestEd will be available to help families file their FAFSA.

We hope to see you there!

For those unable to attend, a recorded version of the presentation will be posted on our website after the event.

Champions Together Group Takes the Plunge
Last Saturday, members of our Champions Together group took part in the polar plunge in Ft. Wayne.  Thank you to many of you who helped support such a great cause.  The money we raised fulfilled our financial commitment as a CT group and it benefits Special Olympics Indiana which is awesome.  As a group we raised over $1,700 and the kids that took part are excited to do it again next year and we will likely raise our goal and commitment level of our participants. We would love to have you join us next year.  It was a freezingly good time!
