Welcome to the Norwell High School Guidance and Counseling Department.  We are pleased that you have taken the time to visit the NHS website.  At Norwell, our guidance team consists of three full-time counselors, Mrs. Brooke Orellana, Mrs. Traci Werling and Mr. Ked Moser and secretary, Mrs. Kaley Grzych, who are available to assist each Norwell High School student.

Our mission is to enable all students to experience educational success by providing:

• Guidance to academic, career and citizenship development,

• Counseling to help students overcome challenges that interfere with learning,

• Advocacy for environment that supports high achievement for all students,

• Program management to facilitate student success.
  

Our goal is for all students to become successful learners, responsible citizens, and productive members of a global economy.  We provide large group, small group and individual guidance and counseling services to students and parents.  It is our intent to meet annually with each student.  In addition to scheduled services, we also welcome and encourage student- or parent- initiated appointments.  We are grateful to be in a position to provide this assistance.  Please take advantage of the services offered.
