Intern of the Week

Senior Addison Dirig has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. During this semester, Addison has been working at the Lancaster Elementary School's Latchkey Program. She is the daughter of Jason and Laura Dirig of Bluffton. Addison's supervisor at the latchkey is Cindy Schlicter.
The NWCS Latchkey Program supervises children grades K-5 before and after school. The latchkeys are a very significant part of the educational process of NWCS. Addison's main duty is to ensure the safety of all children who use the latchkey facility. She makes sure that parents sign their child in to the latchkey every morning. Addison also assists with breakfast time, helping students with their iPads, and leading activities and supervision in the gym, playground, and classroom.
Upon graduation, Addison plans to study psychology at perhaps Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion. Long term career goals include the study of occupational therapy in graduate school.
