Reminder: This is tonight!

Due to last night's drifting snow, this morning's slippery county roads, and cold temperatures, Norwell Community Schools will start on a 2-hour delayed schedule for Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Norwell will be closed to observe President's Day.

Just a reminder that there will be NO school on Monday, February 17th, in honor of Presidents' Day. Enjoy your long weekend!

Happy St. Valentine's Day everyone!

Student Council will be selling Lollipop's for $1 on Valentine's Day. Students are also encouraged to dress in red or pink.

Due to county road conditions, Norwell Community Schools will move to a synchronous e-Learning day for Thursday, February 13, 2025. Bear Care and Bobcat Care will remain open.
Norwell Community Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Thursday, 2.13.25. Bear Care and Bobcat Care will be open on a regular schedule. An update on road conditions will be made by 7:30 a.m. tomorrow.
Norwell has a scheduled 2-hour delay tomorrow for professional development. The weather forecast has shifted to snow/sleet starting at 1:00PM. Many local school districts are preparing for possible early dismissals tomorrow. This would not be an option for Norwell as we are already on a shortened scheduled. Of course, we have no way of knowing neither the timing nor the extent of any snow and ice accumulations. However, acting on the side of caution, Norwell will implement a synchronous (livestreamed) e-Learning Day tomorrow, February 12, 2025. Students should follow the e-Learning schedule.
We're on the homestretch for completion of the NMS project! Take a look at the progress of the cafeteria and office space renovations! https://weigandconstruction.egnyte.com/dl/GRoFFGwC2z
Reminder that this Wednesday, Feb. 12 school will be on a two-hour delay schedule!

Knights Sounds had a great evening last night coming in 5th overall! 6th grader, Charlotte Giggy was awarded Best Group Performer as well as Best Soloist out of all 9 groups!

We are celebrating the beginning of the NMS Book Fair with PJ Day.

Please note the NMS/NHS schedule for e-learning. Teachers will hold live synchronous Teams meetings during their designated class times. Please email teachers if you have questions or concerns.

Unfortunately, the county road conditions have not changed as we had expected to this point. Norwell Community Schools will move to eLearning for Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Bear Care and Bobcat Care will remain open this morning on a regular schedule. Due to rising temperatures and salt being spread by our highway department, we expect to be onsite following the 2-hour delay. 2.6.25
Due to freezing rain, Norwell Community Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Thursday, February 6, 2025. At this time, Bear Care and Bobcat Care will remain open, but we will update in the morning based on road conditions.
