Senior Karrigan Melcher has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has done her experience in the diagnostic imaging department at Parkview Huntington Hospital with supervisor Morgan Williams. Karrigan is the daughter of Tim and Marcey Melcher.
Karrigan has observed the process of ultrasounds done on livers, kidneys, veins, and for pregnancies. She has also learned about CT scan imaging of the lungs, brain, and the entire body.
Upon graduation, Karrigan will attend the University of Southern Indiana at Evansville to study diagnostic medical imaging.
