Senior Ashley Waldman has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience at Indiana University Health of Fort Wayne in out-patient surgery with mentor Brandi Nealis. Ashley is the daughter of J.D. and Amy Waldman.
Ashley has spent a great deal of time observing surgeries such as eye complications, mastectomies, and endoscopies. She has also learned how to turnover patient rooms once the patients are discharged. This involves sterilizing the rooms from top to bottom.
Upon graduation, Ashley will attend a local college to study nursing.
