Senior Autumn Lee has been selected to receive the Norwell High School ICE [Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education] Student Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience with Bill's Roofing of Ossian with her father and owner Jonathan Lee. Autumn is the daughter of Jonathan Lee and Jennifer Wirt.
A big part of Autumn's job is to prep for specific roofing jobs. This involves gathering and loading materials such as shingles, nails, plywood, tarps, and underlining for transport. She then runs the trailer to a specific job site. On the job, Autumn will run necessary errands and actually get up on the roof to do estimates, repairs, and apply the materials.
Upon graduation, Autumn plans to attain her GCL [General Contractors License] through intricate testing. She wants to be a sales representative and manage construction sites in the future.
