K Brown

Senior Kara Brown has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience at Action Chiropractor of Ossian with mentor Brody Myers.  Kara is the daughter of David and Sharri Brown.

Kara spends a great deal of time observing chiropractor skills. Muscle therapy is a huge part of a chiropractor's work. This includes scraping, cupping, massaging, and stretching. She has also watched adjustments for hips, back, and neck areas. Kara has learned about the decompression table which helps release pressure mainly for the neck and back. Another important part of the business is observing customer interactions.

Upon graduation, Kara plans to attend Indiana University at Bloomington to study exercise science. Ultimately, Kara wants to become a chiropractor.
