Senior Lucile Thompson has been selected to receive the Norwell Internship Spotlight award. She is doing her experience with Norwell High School band director Mr. Sam Wells. Lucile is the daughter of Jason and Jenny Thompson.
Lucile has been a member of the Norwell marching band, pep band, concert band, and jazz band for her entire high school career. As the marching band drum major, Lucile wanted to learn more about the directing of these bands with her internship. Mr. Wells relies on Lucile to copy music for all four bands. She has also helps maintain and organize band equipment, materials, and practice spacing in the music area.
After graduation, Lucile plans to attend Purdue Fort Wayne to study biology. She eventually wants to become an optometrist.
