Senior Hope Mitchell has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience with Norwell High School business teacher and girls basketball coach Mr. Eric Thornton. Hope is the daughter of Matt and Holly Mitchell.
In the business classroom, Hope has been observing Mr. Thornton's classroom management styles and behavioral management techniques. She has helped with grading, computer data entry, and running errands. On the coaching side of the internship, Hope has assisted with fundraising activities such as organizing tickets and counting money. She has also been involved with sending out emails, uniform inventory, and Little Squires Basketball responsibilities.
In the spring of 2026, Hope will enter the accounting field with the Bluffton CPA Group.
After graduation, Hope plans to attend college to study finance and business management.
