Senior Savanna Simerman has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience with high school science teacher Neil Stinson and Ossian Elementary School 4th grade teacher Jenna Sovine. Savanna is the daughter of Jerry and Amy Simerman.
During the first semester with Mr. Stinson, Savanna observed his classroom management and behavioral management styles. She assisted with grading, student group projects, and running errands. Currently in the elementary classroom, Savanna has been doing a great deal of observation. She also helps by making copies, grading, and working with the students and their learning processes.
After graduation, Savanna plans to attend either the University of Saint Francis to study medical imaging or go to PFW to major in elementary education.
