Senior Lincoln Schafer has been selected to receive the Norwell ICE Student Spotlight award. He has been employed by Wasted Diesel Mechanic Shop out of Huntington for the entire school year with his supervisor Chris Hoffman. Lincoln is the son of Luke and Adrienne Schafer.
Lincoln spends a great deal of time pulling truck cabs, so work can be done on the engines. Most vehicles are large pick-ups and fleet trucks. Lincoln now has valuable experience working on brake and exhaust systems. He also performs general maintenance which involves lube jobs, oil changes, and checking various fluid levels.
Upon graduation, Lincoln plans to continue working at Wasted Diesel to learn more about diesel systems.
