K Watkins

Senior Kayla Watkins has been selected to receive the Norwell High School ICE [Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education] Program Student Spotlight award. She has been employed at Cadrex Manufacturing of Ossian this entire school year where her supervisors are Ann Isnogle and Jason Kaumeyer. Kayla is the daughter of Scott and Abby Watkins.

Cadrex manufactures parts for the medical industry in the form of hospital beds and stretchers, orthopedic surgery tools, and prosthetics. Once the parts are made, Kayla's job is to clean them with the use of blasters. She also performs packaging of the parts for transport.

After graduation, Kayla plans to attend Indiana University at South Bend to study medical imaging and play softball.
