Dane Dalrymple has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education Student Spotlight award. He has been employed at Perma Column of Ossian this entire school year. His mentors are director of operations Ken Dearing and production supervisor Dave Jackson. Dane is the son of Mike and Amy Dalrymple.
Perma Column manufactures pole barn anchors for support. Dane loads, operates, and unloads the STURDI-WALL machine that performs automated welding on the anchors. He also cuts rebar, bends brackets, and does essential housekeeping for safety purposes.
Upon graduation, Dane plans to continue working at Perma Column with ultimate aspirations of working in the construction trades.
