Senior Larkin Smith has been selected to receive the Norwell High School Internship Spotlight award. She has been doing her experience at Parkview Family Medicine in Roanoke this entire school year. Larkin is the daughter of Greg and Carey Smith.
Larkin has interned with nurse practitioner Sherri Anderson and various doctors as she learns more about nursing. She has participated in the total patient care experience as clients come in for their appointments. Larkin has learned about prescription medicines and medical procedures, with a focus on over-all women's healthcare.
After graduation, Larkin plans to attend Indiana University at Bloomington to study nursing.
