Thank You, Veterans! 2025 NHS/NMS Veteran's Day Program
Norwell Community Schools is proud to announce that all four of our schools have been recognized as Indiana Purple Star Schools for commitment to service members, veterans, and their families. We would also like to invite the public to our Veterans Day programs being held on November 11, 2025, at Ossian Elementary @ 2:00pm (enter Door 2) and Lancaster Elementary @ 2:15pm and 6:30pm (enter Door 18). Our Middle and High Schools also have a program for those that have already registered. Join us in honoring all who have served!

NHS will be hosting parent/teacher conferences on Wed., October 1, from 3:00-6:30 p.m. Conferences will be an open forum where teachers will be available to meet in the HS cafeteria and HS gymnasium. You can meet with your child’s teacher(s) anytime during the 3:00-6:30 timeframe.

Congratulations to the 2025 Homecoming Court! Queen Candidates are Emmaline Johnson, Jaycie Grzych, Macie Saalfrank, Hope Mitchell and Sawyer Peterson. King Candidates are Brady Smith, Nolan Smith, Cohen Garrett, Caiden Petrie and Cayden Cassel. The junior princess is Aubryn Keller and the junior prince is Simon Isch.

Shout out to Family Ford! They did a tremendous job preparing our buses for summer inspections. Also, thank you to bus drivers, Ami Crow, Connie Clark, Lisa Hanni, and Lori Bauermeister for helping with the inspections. A huge congratulations to our E-sports players and coaches! Our Minecraft and Overwatch 2 teams have both clinched state champion titles, while our Fortnite team secured an impressive third place. Well done, everyone!

Congratulations to our Seniors who have signed on for full time employment with their internship or WBL placement after graduation! Each student signed a letter of intent and received a $100 sign on bonus! We appreciate each of the employers for making this commitment to our students. Thanks to AWMA for putting this event on.

The visit was an incredible opportunity for students to gain insights into the industry, connect with talented developers, and spark new inspiration for their future careers.
