Due to county road conditions, Norwell Community Schools will move to a synchronous e-Learning day for Thursday, February 13, 2025. Bear Care and Bobcat Care will remain open.

Norwell Community Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Thursday, 2.13.25. Bear Care and Bobcat Care will be open on a regular schedule. An update on road conditions will be made by 7:30 a.m. tomorrow.

Norwell has a scheduled 2-hour delay tomorrow for professional development. The weather forecast has shifted to snow/sleet starting at 1:00PM. Many local school districts are preparing for possible early dismissals tomorrow. This would not be an option for Norwell as we are already on a shortened scheduled. Of course, we have no way of knowing neither the timing nor the extent of any snow and ice accumulations. However, acting on the side of caution, Norwell will implement a synchronous (livestreamed) e-Learning Day tomorrow, February 12, 2025. Students should follow the e-Learning schedule.

Reminder that this Wednesday, Feb. 12 school will be on a two-hour delay schedule!

Unfortunately, the county road conditions have not changed as we had expected to this point. Norwell Community Schools will move to eLearning for Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Bear Care and Bobcat Care will remain open this morning on a regular schedule. Due to rising temperatures and salt being spread by our highway department, we expect to be onsite following the 2-hour delay. 2.6.25
