Tri Kappa in Wells County presented a $250 mini grant to Lisa Tarr’s Spanish 3 classes to buy 28 more Spanish readers to enjoy on Friday reading days. They love the good quality, interesting readers they were able to add to their collection!
Counseling Services - Access to quality mental health is important to Northern Wells Community Schools. In partnership with the Bowen Center, ALL students are now eligible to receive two prepaid counseling sessions. There is no co-pay or preauthorization required. The FFA District 6 Welding Contest was held at the Huntington Career Center last Thursday. Congratulations to Matthew Wyss and Korben Neuenschwander for placing 3rd in the beginner's division, and Coltin Mounsey and Harper Kahn for placing 4th in the advanced division!
Students in Mrs. Rinehart's Principles of Culinary class had a visit from Norwell grad, Kylie Tomlin, owner of The Charcuterie Shop. They learned what it takes to be a business owner in food service and were able to taste test some of the items they feature on their boards.
