Norwell has a scheduled 2-hour delay tomorrow for professional development. The weather forecast has shifted to snow/sleet starting at 1:00PM. Many local school districts are preparing for possible early dismissals tomorrow. This would not be an option for Norwell as we are already on a shortened scheduled. Of course, we have no way of knowing neither the timing nor the extent of any snow and ice accumulations. However, acting on the side of caution, Norwell will implement a synchronous (livestreamed) e-Learning Day tomorrow, February 12, 2025. Students should follow the e-Learning schedule.
Reminder that this Wednesday, Feb. 12 school will be on a two-hour delay schedule!
Unfortunately, the county road conditions have not changed as we had expected to this point. Norwell Community Schools will move to eLearning for Thursday, February 6, 2025.

NHS had nine students compete Skills USA Auto Service Technology - Regional Contest against 35 other students from the NE Indiana area. Wyatt Kephart (Bluffton student) finished 1st, Aaron Rider finished 2nd, Cameron Tofflemoyer finished 4th. All three qualified to attend the State competition in April. Wyatt and Aaron also earned a $1500 scholarship for IVY Tech! Even those who did not finish in the top 5 still represented Norwell in fine fashion. Congratulations!
