Yesterday, our amazing Student Council and National Junior Honor Society members visited Kate’s Kart to help spread joy to hospitalized kids. They worked together to label thousands of crayons and proudly delivered a check donation to support Kate’s Kart’s mission of providing books and smiles to children in hospitals.

NWCS: Due to slick road conditions, Norwell Community Schools will be on a two-hour delayed start for Monday, 11/10/25. School will begin at 9:30, doors open at 9:05.
Norwell Community Schools is proud to announce that all four of our schools have been recognized as Indiana Purple Star Schools for commitment to service members, veterans, and their families. We would also like to invite the public to our Veterans Day programs being held on November 11, 2025, at Ossian Elementary @ 2:00pm (enter Door 2) and Lancaster Elementary @ 2:15pm and 6:30pm (enter Door 18). Our Middle and High Schools also have a program for those that have already registered. Join us in honoring all who have served!

BORDER WARS IS BACK! NMS vs. NHS staff basketball game will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, November 13 in the NMS gym. Tickets are $4 each. There will be concessions, prizes, raffles, and more! This is a great annual community get together that we're excited to host again this year. Hope you can make it!
