Big weekend for this team! One team made it to the finals ending up 4th out of 45 teams 👏 We also had a team win the overall Sportsmanship Award awarded by judges and volunteers of the event. So much to be proud of for this team!! Well done students and coaches!! 💛💙💛💙

Tonight some staff gathered and learned all the ways Helping Hands supports so many within our community. Helping these local agencies is a great way to support and learn more!

Students participate in Character Building via Special Areas or Lifewise on Friday! This week, second grade learned about empathy and kindness in and then finished by making cards and pictures to share with others! 😍

On Fridays, Ms. McBride’s class invites a mystery reader— a surprise guest who sends three clues about themselves and then comes to read to the class. The kids love guessing who it might be each week! 🤩 This Friday’s big reveal was SRO Deputy Gerz! He read police-themed books, handed out junior deputy stickers, hosted a coloring contest, and answered lots of questions. 👮‍♀️ Thank you to Deputy Gerz, our parents, and our community for making mystery reader days so special! 🥰

We are excited to celebrate National School Counselor Week next week, because we are fortunate to have one of the BEST! Mrs. Kastner joined Lancaster this year and has been quick to help students, families, teachers, and more! Her love and passion for helping others has been appreciated by so many in her short time here. Join us in showing her how thankful we are for all she does for us!
